or position in your University-Institute=0A=0ACuerpo del mensaje:=0ADear Ms=
. Marisa Demartini,
I am an assistant professor of physics at Shahrekord University-Iran.
I would like to inquire to ask if I can have any kind of position at your u=
niversity-Institute or ...
I have appropriate experience in simulation and experimental study in photo=
nics, plasmonics, and electro-optic devices, especially solar cells.
Thank you very much in advance and I am enthusiastically looking forward to=
 hearing you.
Sincerely Yours,

I am writing to apply for the position.
For me, work on Electro-optics, especially 3rd generation of solar cells an=
d plasmonics began in the Ph.D. (2011-2015). Previous field studies of soli=
d-state physics and optics have provided a good theoretical basis for elect=
ro-optic devices. After sufficient theoretical studies, I had the opportuni=
ty to study plasmonic organic cells for 6 months at the University of Freib=
urg (Pr. Elizabeth von Hauff group). The results of this study were reflect=
ed in the two articles. After my Ph.D., I found the research-educational po=
sition at Malayer University and then at Shahrekord University-Iran. Despit=
e the shortcoming of research facilities here, I continued my research on s=
olar cells. In addition to organic cells, I started working on perovskite a=
nd partially quantum dot cells. Once again for one month, the opportunity w=
as found to attend as a research guest position at the Vrije Universiteit A=
msterdam (New group of Pr. Elizabeth von Hauff- 2016).=20
In this section, the focus has been on the far and near-field properties of=
plasmonic nanostructures and their application in solar cells, photocataly=
tics, and plasmonic biosensors. Some experimental work focused on the synth=
esis of plasmonic nanoparticles by physical and chemical method and their u=
se in organic or perovskite solar cells. For simulation study, developed mo=
dels were used to simulate irregular nanostructures by FDTD method and some=
times with effective medium theory. These simulations are not similar to co=
nventional single-particle or periodic regular particle models. Experimenta=
l and simulation works were also performed to Dielectric/metal/Dielectric a=
s a transparent and conductive layer. The study of metal nanostructures to =
improve the performance of thin-film silicon solar cells is another of thes=
e studies. Finally, the results of this study resulted in three papers, whi=
ch were accepted in the year 2019 (list in the CV). Moreover, from collabor=
ative research work, there is an article about the experimental simulation =
study of the plasmonic organic cell in 2020. The metallic nanostructure can=
be the origin of non-optical effects. They can have other positive or nega=
tive effects on solar cell performance, such as electrical effects (like pl=
asmon-induced charge separation, change surface resistance, change in elect=
ron-hole transition, change surface recombination), and changing layer morp=
hology. Therefore, new approaches and applications in plasmonic studies can=
be helpful. Hence the interest in the optical quantum optic simulation of =
plasmonic nanostructure was started by Python (QuTip). Also, two master's t=
heses were defined to the plasmonic biosensor and its simulation. In the ex=
perimental case, the plasmonic nanostructures on the microchannel substrate=
and their ability to sensitize things like the virus ( Covid-19) are going=
to be studied. The above is only an indication of the interest, focus, and=
continuity of my research on electro-optics and plasmonics. My research ex=
perience in both the theoretical and the experimental field and finally in =
the simulation part has given me the ability to meet the challenging resear=
ch associated with these domains. Continued research has led to one article=
being accepted and 4 articles submitted in 2021. Also, as a second supervi=
sor, two doctoral dissertations (one experimentally: Electro-spun synthesis=
of silver/poly (vinyl alcohol) nanofibers and other by simulation: thin-fi=
lm silicon solar cell and plasmonics) are in the defense stage.
Thank you very much for considering my application and I look forward to he=
aring from you.=20
